Cascina Cipressa is located on the top of the Montalto hill, nearby San Romano. In 2022, the agriturismo underwent a thorough restoration under new ownership, blending modern comfort with the timeless charm of its historic roots.

    We aim to make every guest feel at ease and at home. Centrally located and less than an hour from Firenze and Pisa, Cascina Cipressa is the ideal destination for tourists on holiday, local families seeking a delightful dinner, and business travelers visiting nearby companies or looking for a unique team-building venue.

    After taking over this historic property in 2022, we’ve worked to preserve its original charm while introducing modern comfort and sustainable energy solutions.

    Our commitment to sustainable innovation is reflected in our use of solar energy, a battery energy storage system, and electric car charging stations.

  • Cascina Cipressa is located on the top of the Montalto hill, nearby San Romano. Montalto has a long history, dating back in medieval times when Castello Di Montalto belonged to San Miniato. The old scutcheon can still be found in the history museum of San Miniato. The strategic position of the castle made it also the battlefield of the ‘Battle of San Romano’ between Florenese and Sienese forces in 1432, beautifully depicted in 3 paintings of Uccello. In more recent times, it was used as a farm and later also as an agriturismo. In 2022, the agriturismo underwent a thorough restoration under new ownership, blending modern comfort with the timeless charm of its historic roots.
